8-Steps to Ownership

Step 1 - Submit Confidential Profile
Moran Industries, Inc. will provide you with a Confidential Profile for you to complete and send back so we can determine if you have the general qualifications that we are looking for. Click here for profile.

Step 2 - Review Programs
You will be provided with overview information on the company and each brand offered. We will discuss which brand would be best for you so additional information can be sent out.

Step 3 - The Franchise Disclosure Document
This document, referred to as the UFDD, is the mandated disclosure document that gives you a wealth of information about the franchisor. The form and composition of the document is standard with any franchisor and must include information on a variety of topics of interest to you. You will carefully review the FDD document and note any questions or issues that the material raises for further discussion with the franchisor. You may also choose to involve outside advisors such as a Franchise Attorney or CPA to review material you are not familiar with.

Step 4 - Review Support

Step 5 - Franchisee Calls and Visits
A valuable source of information on any franchise system is the existing franchisees. You should plan on calling or visiting a number of the existing franchisees during your review.

Step 6 - Make a Decision
If you have been diligent, the entire process outlined above will take about three to five weeks to complete. You now have all the information you need to determine if this franchise is right for you.

Step 7 - Review the Final Agreement
A final agreement will be sent for your review that will be specific to you and your business.

Step 8 - Decision Day / Meeting the Team
This is the final step in the process and it is a time for you and Moran Industries, Inc., to decide that this will be a great partnership. This is a structured event where you will meet the key people you will be working with, move forward with signing your agreement, pay your franchise fee and start the process of opening your business.
