Q. Do I qualify financially to own a Mr. Transmission shop?
A. Depending upon the trademark, the initial investment to open a location is $144,150 to $215,810. The capital requirements for all trademarks are $60,000 which is included in the initial investment figure. Moran Industries is a member of VetFran offering discounts to qualifying veterans and MinorityFran which offers discounts to qualifying minority candidates.

Q. Are you looking for special qualities in a business owner?
A. You are not required to have an automotive background. We are searching for someone with a business background, proven management skills, leadership abilities, firm understanding of customer service values and be involved as an owner-operator in the management of the shop.

Q. Will Moran Industries, Inc. help with financing?
A. Moran Industries, Inc. does not provide direct financing, but we will identify qualified lenders who have either financed other Moran Industries, Inc operations or have been listed as approved lenders to work with Moran Industries, Inc. franchisees. The lenders can usually meet a variety of business funding needs to help you pursue the franchise opportunity of your choice. Moran Industries, Inc. offers financial incentives such as VetFran and special incentives for converting an existing shop.

Q. Will Moran Industries, Inc. provide assistance for real estate selection?
A. Moran Industries, Inc has both in-house and field based staff and a network of real estate brokers who are there to assist you in the entire real estate selection and development process. Moran Industries, Inc. analyzes relevant demographic information to evaluate the site selected and ensure that it meets our requirements.

Q. What is the standard shop size?
A. The range of shop sizes vary throughout our system and vary in building design depending on when they were built. If you are a conversion candidate and are concerned about whether the size of your facility will accommodate Mr. Transmission or a co-brand, we will be glad to evaluate it and let you know our findings.

Q. Does Moran Industries, Inc. provide its' franchisees with a protected territory?
A. One of the provisions in Moran Industries, Inc. Franchise and Trademark Agreement guarantees that no other shop will be placed within 3 miles of your shops location.

Q. How much money will I make?
A. Moran Industries, Inc. provides Average Gross Revenue, Average Cost of Goods Sold and Average Operating Profit in three tiers within our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that will allow you to formulate your own financial projections. Please note that it is illegal for any employee or agent of a franchisor to provide any information beyond that which is disclosed in its' FDD.
